Harish is an outstanding driving instructor. What makes him stand out is his professionalism: He always sends a 24-hour appointment reminder, so you never miss a lesson, and he always arrives on time. His car is brand new, very neat and clean, which makes learning so comfortable and enjoyable. He is incredibly patient, calm and encouraging. He explains everything so clearly and never makes you feel nervous, even when you make mistakes. He taught me to be a safe and confident driver, not just to pass the test. I am not sure there are enough words to describe how appreciative I am of Mo. We have been on a journey for many, many months - I started from absolute zero with no extra support and passed my test first time with only 3 faults, at Mitcham no less. Mo did not know what he was in for taking me on as a student, I am anxiety-prone and generally nervous - and in my mid-30s so not as fearless as younger drivers might be! I had put off driving lessons for 20 years for a number of reasons, but a huge one was out of fear of getting a teacher who didn’t accommodate my anxious brain. Mo immediately made me feel comfortable and safe from day 1, while still challenging me every single lesson. I am genuinely going to miss our lessons, and cannot thank HHDS and Mo enough for the kindness and care throughout this process. Not to mention all the fun and laughs along the way. I cannot thank Herne Hill Driving school enough for all of their help. Sarah was always on hand and replied to my messages quickly no matter the time of day. She allocated me with my lovely instructor Maliyr. Malyir was always on time and never let me down. He explained everything clearly and calmly. I was never afraid to make a mistake. After having 7 instructors really just using me for money not really teaching me anything I contacted charoun (Aron) I told him I needed help also while having a test booked in a month I can honestly say instantly I knew he was the man that was gonna take me over the finish line he was calm and very understanding if I didn’t understand anything he would take me out of his car explain it to me and not let me leave that lesson without understanding honestly guys I say you book with him he will get you over the finish line and you will understand I was originally meant to have a test in Mitcham a day before it got cancelled and I got Bromley a week later he helped me understand Bromley and pass in Bromley in about 2 days very good guy God bless amazing instructorPosted on Google![]()

Syed is the most fantastic driving instructor and I recommend him to everyone! A new mother in my late 30s/early 40s, Syed gave me the skills and confidence to pass first time! He is extremely professional in all of his communications and general approach, but was also really friendly and easy to get along with, and I found myself looking forward to our lessons. As a (secondary school) teacher myself, I really appreciated his calm unflappable manner and his unfailingly belief in me, which gave me so much confidence in both him and myself, turning my mistakes into learning opportunities rather than something to get hung up on. He managed to teach me in a way that ticked all of the boxes for learning the theory and basics of what I needed to be able to do in order to pass the test, but with the foresight and maturity to see beyond just the test and teach me good habits for becoming a thoughtful and competent driver for life. I feel extremely lucky to have had Syed as my instructor, having not only had a really positive experience of lessons and of passing first time, but also because I felt immediately capable and confident enough to drive alone (and with a baby in the car) afterwards and for the past few months. Charoun was my instructor and he is absolutely amazing and I never would’ve passed my test first time without him! He explains things very simply in a way that sticks and makes the lessons a lot less stressful for a new learner. He also has a really calm and safe vibe that really helped me build confidence and pick up driving quickly - also the ideal person to be sitting next to while I was confronting my fear of the fast dual carriageway ha! On top of that it was actually such a joy to spend an hour or two with Charoun every week for several months - he is so friendly and we got on really well. As I got more confident and was able to drive with less step by step instruction, we spent most of the lessons chatting and laughing! I have had 3 different instructors in this journey of learning to drive (for various reasons) and without doubt Charoun is my favourite, as both an instructor and a person. I would highly recommend, and have ALREADY been recommending him, as an instructor to anyone who wants to learn how to drive. You will not be disappointed! Thank you so much Charoun! :D
